MAN is helpless against the powers of NATURE , howsoever great may be his scientific achievement.
THAT'S WHY THE ANCIENTS, IN THEIR WISDOM, RESPECTED AND WORSHIPPED NATURE ALL OVER THE WORLD.
The mind-blowing massive wild fires,
the disastrous floods, the unstoppable rising sea levels, the fast receding ground-water table on which the land rests , the large-scale melting polar regions, the doomed sinking city of Jakarta are all nature's warnings to complacent MAN, a WAKE UP call.

According to ancient Hindu texts, TIME moves in cycles intervened by DELUGE (pralaya). The last one was at the end of DWAPAR cycle ( the Deluge of Old Testament ? ) some five thousand years back.
Are we fast-tracking towards the next DELUGE (PRALAY)? Are we in the process of cutting the very branch of the tree on which we are sitting ?
